Make it work

The meeting is step one.
Trust is the real work.

Take it 1:1

Meeting once a week on Zoom is just the first step. Stronger relationships develop when you continue the conversation through a 1:1 meeting and take the time to understand the person behind the business.

Read the 1:1 Conversation Guide →

Give before you ask

Having an ASK is important — but when you work on how you can give someone business or references, that works even better.

Refer with care

Don't blindly refer people. Get to know them and ask for case studies if they offer services, before recommending them to your trusted network.

How the group works

Build Relationships,
Not Broadcasts.

The WhatsApp group is for connection — not constant promotion. There's simple math behind this, and a better way to grow your business through the community — including a dedicated Promotions group you'll get access to after you join.

100members × 1promo each = 100posts a day

The day we cross 100 members, if everyone promotes their business, that's 100 posts every single day. The group becomes noise, people mute it, and it stops being useful for anyone.

Don't

Broadcast your business

No unsolicited promos, offers, or sales pitches dropped into the main group. One person's promo invites everyone else's — and the feed turns to spam.

Do instead

Share your group — let people opt in

Every week after the Networking Circles meeting, members are welcome to share their own WhatsApp group or community link once, together with one or two sentences explaining who the community is for and why members may benefit from joining. This lets interested members opt in and keep learning, while keeping the Main Group focused on relationship building.

✓ Opt-in, not broadcast

The Main Group exists to start conversations that build relationships and create business opportunities.

The Promotions Group exists to showcase your expertise, products, services and events to members who are interested.

Main Group

Conversations that build relationships and business together.

  • Introductions and referrals
  • Looking for introductions
  • Requests for recommendations
  • Looking for suppliers, partners, employees, or service providers
  • Collaboration opportunities
  • Business questions
  • Networking tips and experiences
  • Success stories and gratitude
  • Invitations for 1:1 conversations
  • Job opportunities where the community is asked to help find the right candidate
  • Networking Circles announcements and updates

Promotions Group

Content that primarily introduces or promotes your own business.

  • Products and services
  • Workshops, webinars, conferences, and events
  • Educational content related to your expertise
  • LinkedIn posts, YouTube videos, and blog articles
  • Company updates and product launches
  • Brochures and catalogues
  • Special offers and calls to action
  • Books, resources, and promotional material
Take it offline

In the same city?
Meet in person.

If you and other members are in the same area or city, you're encouraged to meet offline and turn a Zoom conversation into a real friendship. Keep it simple — a casual, low-pressure catch-up where each person pays for what they eat or drink.

Coffee shops & cafés

An easy, relaxed setting for a 1:1 or a small group. Everyone pays for their own.

Office conference rooms

Have a meeting room at your workplace? Offer it up and host a few members for a focused session.

Food courts

Busy, public, and convenient — meet over a meal where, again, everyone covers their own bill.

Keep it safe & public

We recommend meeting in public spaces only, and please avoid pubs and bars — keeping things professional and comfortable for everyone makes the community better for all.

Planning a meet-up? Post it on the WhatsApp group so nearby members can join.

Questions

Good to know
before you join.

Why is Networking Circles free?

That's a question I'm asked quite often.

The simple answer is that I genuinely believe networking is one of the most rewarding investments anyone can make.

My vision has never been to build another paid networking group. My goal is to build a community where business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs help one another through introductions, referrals, collaborations and meaningful relationships.

The beautiful thing about networking is that when people genuinely receive value, they naturally want to tell others about it.

If Networking Circles helps you build meaningful relationships and create new business opportunities, there's a good chance you'll invite someone else who would also benefit. As more wonderful people join, the community becomes stronger, everyone gains access to a larger network, and the opportunities for all of us, including me, naturally grow.

That's why I don't feel the need to charge a membership fee, at least for now.

Of course, if the community grows to a point where it requires a dedicated team to manage and support it, I may introduce a small membership fee in the future to cover those costs.

That said, I also love building systems and using technology to automate repetitive work wherever possible. My hope is that, by continuously improving the platform, I can keep Networking Circles accessible to everyone for a very long time.

For me, the greatest reward isn't a membership fee.

It's seeing relationships turn into referrals, collaborations, friendships and successful businesses.

If that continues to happen, I think we're all winning.

Do I need to prepare anything?
No preparation needed. Just come ready to talk about what you do and to listen to others. A clear, one-line description of your business helps you make the most of each breakout room.
How does the session actually work?
After Rishi welcomes everyone, you're sent into small breakout rooms of 5 people for about 10 minutes, then brought back and regrouped — repeated across three rounds, so you meet new people each time. The more people attend, the more breakout rooms open (always 5 people per room). Once the rounds finish the meeting concludes; anyone who needs to leave can drop off, and those who stay can ask questions or share feedback before we close. Real conversations instead of rushed pitches.
Who is it for?
Business owners, consultants, freelancers, service providers, founders, and professionals who believe networking works best when relationships come before transactions.
What happens after the session?
The weekly meeting is just the start. The real relationships develop through 1:1 conversations. Use our 1:1 Conversation Guide to learn how to understand another member's business, recognise referral opportunities and follow up meaningfully. You can also join the WhatsApp group to stay connected and share your business details through the Member Directory.
How do I join the next meeting?

Just register through Zoom and check your email for a confirmation message with the subject line "Networking Circles Confirmation" from no-reply@zoom.us. It includes your personal joining link — simply join at the time shown in it.

If you don't see it in your inbox, check your Spam, Promotions, or Updates folders.

Can I share my Zoom link with someone else?
The Zoom link in your confirmation email is personal to you. If someone else would like to attend, please ask them to visit this page and register themselves — they'll then automatically receive their own invitations and reminders for future meetings.
Do I need to register for every Networking Circles meeting?

No. You only need to register once. When you register for the first time, Zoom creates a unique personal joining link just for you — that same link keeps working for future meetings, since we simply update the date and time each week. The easiest option is to bookmark your personal Zoom link so you can use it every week without registering again.

If you can't find your original Zoom email, don't worry — simply register again using the same email address, and Zoom will automatically send you a fresh confirmation email with your personal joining link.

In summary: register once, bookmark your personal Zoom link, use the same link every week, and if you ever lose it, just register again with the same email to get a new confirmation.

Pro tip

After your first registration, bookmark your unique Zoom link in your browser or save it as a shortcut on your phone. Then joining Networking Circles each week is just one click away.

❤️ Love Networking Circles?
Help us grow.

Networking Circles has grown almost entirely through personal recommendations. If you've found value in this community and believe other business owners in your network would benefit too, I'd love your help.

If every member invited just a few like-minded business owners, we'd build an even stronger community filled with people who genuinely value relationships, collaboration and referrals. A personal recommendation is always far more powerful than an advertisement.
