Sending SMS from your computer

Although most of us have switched to using WhatsApp, power users prefer to use WhatsApp on their computer instead of their Phone.

For Android users, you can send SMS from your computer by downloading the "Messages" App from Google. It allows you to send and receive SMS from your computer. Think about how cool this when having to locate your phone for the OTP and typing it manually right?

This App has been around since 2014

Go here to get started
  1. Download the App on your phone from the Play Store (top-right) and set it as your default SMS app
  2. Then go to the same link above on your computer and click "Messages for web" (top-right)
  3. Authenticate via Q.R. Code, and you should be good.
